Pool Table Cloth Recovers
Recent Recover of a HGM Diplomat Pool Table in Custom Liverpool FC Cloth
Our Wiltshire based client, a loyal Liverpool fan for decades had an older 7ft x 4ft HGM Diplomat pool table at home and approached us after seeing our older Liverpool logo cloth on a table we supplied to a Liverpool based client years ago. The latest LFC colour scheme has changed somewhat and he enquired about having the logo design fitted to his table.
We advised the best way forward to get the go ahead for home, non commercial use only and he obtained written LFC permission for their logo and colour scheme to be printed on a cloth. This included the correct Pantone colours for reproduction as near as technically possible on the Strachan speed cloth with Stainguard.
After a protracted wait the cloth duly arrived and our fitters were sent his original cushions which were stripped down in our workshop and fitted with new cushion rubber prior to fitting the cushion strips — this ensures that gameplay on the table will be as good as on a new table once the slate is recovered.
Embarking on a near 450 mile round trip one weekend in April we completed the slate covering in the new LIverpool Football club cloth on the slate. We have let the pictures taken tell the story: our very happy client now has a table that plays like a new one with his favourite football team logo on the cloth. The cloth loses none of its usual playing characteristics and will give years of enjoyment for a loyal fan and his family and friends. We also donated a new set of Aramith premiers pots & stripes pool balls - new cloth and new quality balls equates to another very happy IQ customer.
