If your pool table has a slate bed we will have recovered a similar model during our 30 years in the pool business. Pool tables are normally recovered and refurbished ‘on site’. We ensure there is minimal disruption to usual activity in the pool room. Various grades and types of cloth are offered – these are always the cloths we use on our commercial pool table operation in leisure venues. They are amongst the finest available in the UK today. Woollen napped cloths and nylon/speed cloths are the primary choices and we offer vast colour ranges to suit personal tastes and home décor requirements. We only use quality trade cloth by market leaders, including Strachan and Hainsworth. Colours available in swatch samples include, amongst many others, black, burgundy, red, purple, orange, tan, green and blue. Or why not ask about our bespoke 'customised cloth' that can be designed to your specification – it could be a family photo, special event, promotional concept or your favourite team.

Prior to commencing a recover we always ascertain the current state of the slate and cushions. Recovering dried out, brittle cushion rubber is false economy, especially as many pool tables we work on are up to 40 years old! We offer a supplementary replacement or new cushion option for most makes of slate bed pool tables. Slates are stripped and checked for blemishes and chips. All old cloth and glue is carefully scraped away. Once our craftsmen are happy with the condition of the slate and cushions work can commence.

Your table is normally transformed in a relatively short time. If you have new cushion rubber the resultant table's playing surface is truly 'as new'. Recovering your current cushion rubber and slate will result in a vastly improved playing experience and ensure you are playing on league standard cloth.
